Every year this time of year Jaime and I long for the beach. Jaime more so, seeing she was raised in the Florida Gulf Shores. Last February we traveled to Destin, FL and while on the beach we found this sand dollar. So over the last year I've had this sand dollar in a little zip lock bag sitting in my studio. This week as Jaime was reminiscing about the Florida sunshine and the sound of crashing waves an idea popped in my mind of a way of making Jaime smile. I took the sand dollar and made a mold then cast that little sand dollar in silver so Jaime can have a little piece of the Florida shores with her at all times. #SheLovesIt
